We are extremely pleased to have Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superatives returning to our festival. "The Rest of Mine" and "Big Time" are two huge hits for Trace Adkins. "Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly," recorded by Aaron Tippin, "Doghouse" recorded by John Conke, and "The Love Song" and "I Wanna Make You Cry," both recorded by Jeff Bates are just a few more of the many he's written/co-written. Jay Unger & Molly Mason ![]() Jay Ungar & Molly Mason are extraordinary musicians. If you didn't know it before, you sure did after Ken Burns' The Civil War hit the airwaves. Their performance of Jay's haunting composition Ashokan Farewell _ the musical hallmark of the PBS series _ earned the couple international acclaim. The soundtrack won a Grammy and Ashokan Farewell _ originally inspired by Jay & Molly's annual fiddle and dance camps _ was nominated for an Emmy. She was soon noticed by none other than Bluegrass legend Charlie Waller, who was so impressed with her talents that he allowed her to do guest performances on many of his shows with The Country Gentlemen.
Heather has since became a Bluegrass favorite in her own right by opening shows for some of the biggest names in Bluegrass! She has won numerous awards and competitions for her singing and musical talents.
Heather is an IBMA award winner (Recorded Event of the Year for the album "Back to the Well" by the Daughters of Bluegrass), and she was nominated for SPBGMA Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year for 2007, and has been nominated again for 2008.
