Fortune Williams Music Festival _________________________________________________________

The Fortune Williams Music Festival
is a musical event highlighting the talent of performers from Shennandoah Valley and beyond. Our festival hosts are Jimmy Fortune, formerly of the Statler Brothers, and Robin & Linda Williams.

Friday afternnon, as on the first day of each year's
Fortune Williams Music Festival, the musicians put on an impromptu concert for patients, staff and visitors of Augusta Health. In the atrium of the hospital, Robin and Linda Williams and Jimmy Fortune, along with guests, play guitars, a banjo and sing a dozen or so songs for the crowd. It is a tradition that began several years ago when the Williamses and Fortune wanted to do something for people who couldn't make it out to the show at the Frontier Culture Museum.

Artist Perform at Hospital

Friday night celebrates a very special "Songwriters' in the Round." This event is known for its intimate and lighthearted atmosphere, which the artists themselves have commented on in the past. Reserved ticket sales only, and includes a reception with the artists before the concert.

The music resumes Saturday at noon on the Main Stage at the Cochran Pavilion . It's a packed full day of great entertainment, including performances from Fortune and the Williamses, as well as festival Headliners.
